iPhone App "Platonic"
Though the iPhone app “Platonic” might not have any practical application, it is aesthetically pleasing and looks cool on an iPhone. The app displays the 5 Platonic solids tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron. The solids are prerendered in high quality and can be rotated with your fingertip. The app includes a brief historical overview, a compilation of mathematical formulas, a calculator and a group of links. “Platonic” has been localized in German and English and can be obtained at the App Store.
